Course Description

We realize that not everyone needs the full Real World Entrepreneur Training Course. We have taken some of the episodes from the full course and made them into them into shorter courses that may better suit your needs. As with the full course, you will learn from real entrepreneurs being filmed while discussing their business with business experts. There isn't a better way of learning than watching others go through the process!

As with any business, it is important to understand as much as you can. The Financing and Accounting course will help you be prepared when looking for financing as well as simplify your initial accounting set-up.

One of the biggest challenges and frustrations for startups is to find the capital needed to get up and running. Where do you get the money? Bootstrapping? Borrowing from friends and family? Or do you approach a bank for the cash you need for the early stages of your business? In the financing episode, the different options available to startups is discussed.

Do you think you are prepared for pitching to a Venture Capitalist? VC Chris Arsenault of iNovia Capital listens to a pitch from Spoonity. Find out what every entrepreneur should know before finalizing their pitch to an Angel Investor or Venture Capitalist.

Most small business owners don't want to talk about accounting, let alone do it. The accounting episode covers bookkeeping, when you need an accountant and payroll services. It is intended to make you feel at ease and less intimidated by accounting practices.
